The Washington County Board of County Commissioners approved the release of an older SHIP (State Housing Initiatives Partnership) program lien placed on a property, after the Emerald Coast Regional Council requested removal.
County staff said the SHIP liens are typically placed on properties for a 10-year period. The clerk's office, via Kayla Corbett, provided records showing the lien met the standard period and could be released. The board voted to approve the release by voice vote.
No public comments or opposition were recorded on the item at the meeting.
