Planning staff presented a comprehensive rewrite of Mesquite’s sign code at the City Council meeting on April 8, 2025. The draft ordinance (Bill B25-004) consolidates existing standards into a single citywide chapter, clarifies definitions and mural rules, sets spacing and sizing standards for temporary and promotional signs and adds operational conditions for A-frame and other movable signs.
