The board approved two rezoning requests: - RZ2025-04: Rezoning from Agricultural (A-1) to Low Density Residential (R-1) for a 0.88-acre lot at 3118 Chatsworth Highway 225 in Calhoun (Gordon County parcel 062-068). Planning staff recommended approval and reported the parcel already has city water service and a fire hydrant within 1,000 feet. - RZ2025-05: Rezoning from Agricultural (A-1) to Low Density Residential (R-1) for property at 529 Switch Road SW (parcel 025-009). Planning staff recommended approval; there was no substantive opposition at the hearing.
The board also authorized multiple operational and capital items included on the published agenda.
