Budget committee backs short-term reclassification for assessor appraiser who has been performing higher duties
The committee recommended forwarding to commissioners a request to reclassify an appraiser 1 to appraiser 2 for four months of retroactive pay after staff said the employee has performed appraiser 2 duties for about nine months.

The Elko County Budget Committee voted March 12 to recommend that the Board of County Commissioners reclassify an Appraiser 1 to Appraiser 2 and forward the recommendation from the assessor’s office.
