CJCC reports treatment court turnover and caseloads; diversion programs continue

A CJCC representative told the committee that March marked Judge Tollan’s last month as treatment court judge and that Judge Anderson became the presiding treatment court judge in April. CJCC reported the treatment court team is losing staff — an assistant district attorney left for Adams County and a public defender left for Pierce County — but the team continues to operate.
Current program counts provided: six treatment court participants (with one or two referrals pending), two participants in the county diversion program, five participants in the intoxicated driver intervention program and expected first‑time offender referrals on April 28.
The CJCC representative and committee members encouraged continued coordination while the team transitions.
