Clark County advisory panel finalizes climate-policy recommendations; majority of items win consensus
The Clark County Community Advisory Group (CAG) completed a yearlong review and recommended a package of climate element goals and policies to the Planning Commission and County Council. Members reached consensus on the large majority of items and sent a letter with the group’s recommendations; three goals did not secure full consensus.

The Clark County Community Advisory Group completed its final meeting April 7, 2025, and forwarded its recommendations on a draft climate element for the county’s comprehensive plan to the Planning Commission and County Council. Facilitator Sylvia Chibrowski opened the session from the hearing room, thanking members and outlining the day’s voting on 160 draft goals and policies.
