Lewis County fiscal court members spent an extended portion of the meeting reviewing and criticizing recent state allocation decisions from the county pavement preservation or competitive paving program (referred to in the meeting as the CPPP program), saying several Lewis County road submissions were denied while counties with similar or smaller populations received larger awards.
