Commissioners ask park board to present 2026 operating needs after reviewing current forecast

The board emphasized this is not a critique of park personnel, and commissioners said they wanted more information on recurring operating costs (insurance and other operational expenses) before approving additional funds.
No formal vote was recorded on the park-board request; commissioners directed staff to invite the park-board representative to provide a fuller presentation this year and to return with a forecast and specific requests for next year.
