For concrete repairs, maintenance estimated work to replace selected heaved and cracked sidewalk sections around the courthouse at about $20,000 and recommended using a 6‑inch reinforced slab in high‑traffic areas to avoid repeat failures. Commissioners asked staff to solicit bids from local contractors and to identify whether costs should come from the maintenance fund or a capital improvement fund; maintenance said they would return with quotes and fund recommendations.
No formal funding or contract award was decided at the meeting.
