The board voted unanimously on routine procurement and permitting items early in the meeting, awarded the only bid for the 2025 dust cost-share program to Lyman Dust Control, authorized a call for bids on the county’s 2025 crack-seal program, approved the sale of four-yard landfill containers to the City of Kalispell, and approved a CIP amendment to replace a totaled sheriff’s patrol vehicle.
Planning staff brought several lakeshore permit applications and a two-lot preliminary plat (Weber Estates) to the board; each permit and the preliminary plat was approved after the planning reports and standard conditions were read into the record. The permits carried typical conditions requiring equipment not contact lake water, removal of construction debris, and limits on stockpiling in the lakeshore protection zone.
