Board approves multiple procurement and construction resolutions; roll call shows full attendance

During its meeting the Columbia County Board of Supervisors adopted a series of resolutions covering procurement, construction contracts, purchases for renovation projects and routine renewals.
Among the measures acted on during the meeting: - Resolution 99 of 2025: referenced as a purchase related to solid waste; the clerk introduced the resolution in the finance packet and it was adopted by voice vote. - Resolution 115 of 2025: moved and carried by the board (details presented in the finance packet). - Resolution 116 of 2025: authorized the chairman to award and execute a construction contract for replacement of the Mill Hill bridge superstructure in the town of Gallatin; the motion was seconded and approved. - Resolution 117 of 2025: authorized purchases of materials and services associated with renovations of the county office building at 11 Warren Street; the board approved the measure (see separate article for project update). - Resolution 118 of 2025: authorized renewal of a health service agreement; the board approved the renewal.
Supervisors also adopted grouped resolution packages. The clerk read Resolutions 65 of 2025 through 91 of 2025 (by Supervisor Eldridge) and Resolutions 92 of 2025 through 118 of 2025 (by Supervisor MacArthur); the board moved and carried the packages during the meeting.
The chair requested a roll-call attendance check after the package votes; the clerk read members’ names and the chair reported “We have 100% attendance.” The board then proceeded to adopt routine business items, proclamations (Women’s History Month and a Fair Housing Month proclamation), and several board appointments including members to the Climate Action Plan Committee.
All procurement and contract resolutions presented in the finance packet were carried by voice vote or roll call during the meeting; no opposing votes were recorded on the items discussed on the floor.
