The Madison City Commission accepted the low base bid for the library ramp reconstruction and directed staff to proceed with contracting for the base scope. Staff reported seven bidders; base bids ranged from about $58,980 to $277,201. Keselut Excavation submitted the low base bid (approximately $59,000). The commission approved awarding the base bid only and did not accept the alternates.
