The mayor introduced Anna Kersey Wechstein as a new assistant county attorney at Tuesday's Macon-Bibb County Commission meeting. The mayor said Wechstein is a Macon native, a graduate of Mercer University (law degree noted as 2022 on the record), and that she spent several years in private practice before joining the county attorney's office.
