Cobb County procurement opens three solicitations; two park projects postponed until April 24

Cobb County Deputy Director of Procurement Services Stephanie Bryce announced on April 10, 2025, that two solicitations for the Cobb County Parks Department were postponed until April 24 and that procurement staff opened three solicitations and recognized vendor responses at the countys bid opening session.
The postponements named were solicitation 25-6886, for synthetic turf conversion of Fullers Park Field 1, and solicitation 25-6887, for exterior and interior renovations at Boots Ward Recreation Center; both were deferred to April 24, 2025, Bryce said.
Procurement staff opened three solicitations during the session. For solicitation 25-6888, an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for annual preventive maintenance and emergency service for generator systems on behalf of the Cobb County Water System, procurement recorded responses from Energy Systems; NGT Group, LLC; Power and Energy Services, Inc.; and Prime Power Services, Inc.
For solicitation 25-6892, an ITB for annual car-wash services for Cobb County government vehicles (Fleet Management), procurement recorded responses from Mackland Car Wash LLC; MRE East Cobb Express LLC; Spartan Innovations and Solutions, Inc.; and Tidal Wave Auto Spa.
For solicitation 25-6893, a request for proposals (RFP) for decedent transport services on behalf of the Cobb County Medical Examiners Office, procurement recorded proposals from ATL Bio and In Their Honor Transports.
Bryce reminded viewers that listings of bidding opportunities estimated to exceed $50,000, as well as preliminary bid results and approved bid awards, are available on the Cobb County procurement website: www.cobbcounty.org/procurementservices. "We would like to remind everyone that a listing of bidding opportunities estimated to be in excess of $50,000 are available on the Cobb County website," Bryce said.
The next regularly scheduled bid opening for Cobb County was announced as Thursday, April 24, 2025. The announcements on April 10 were administrative procurement actions: postponements and recording of vendor responses; no formal votes or contract awards were made at the session.
