The approvals came by voice vote without any recorded opposition. The board also heard a detailed presentation from Magdalena Beyer, the library’s adult services librarian, about collection work, programming and volunteer coordination.
The votes cleared routine business so trustees could focus on operating updates. Sari Koehler, Library Board Trustee, reported that “Elizabeth Bennett, who is a patron, has made a substantial donation to the library,” and thanked community donors for contributions that are being recognized on the donor wall. Trustees discussed a planned fundraiser called Books, Bites and Beverages and an outreach idea described as a Fallon authors showcase.
