Council approves specific use permit for wireless facility at West Point Tap Road

Palestine City Council approved a specific use permit to locate a wireless communication facility at or near 2233 West Point Tap Road. City staff said the proposed structure would sit roughly 200–250 feet from an adjacent residential neighborhood and that the location and permit type are allowed under retail commercial zoning with a specific use permit.
