Sawyer County board approves Callahan and Mud Lake district, excludes properties that requested removal
After hours of public comment and legal guidance on state statute, the Sawyer County Board voted 8-6 to create the Callahan and Mud Lake Lake District while removing property owners who asked to be excluded and excluding certain county-owned parcels. The board also appointed an initial five-member commission.
