The Kenosha County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved two initial resolutions authorizing the issuance of general obligation promissory notes: up to $17,770,000 for budgeted capital projects including road and highway improvements, and up to $4,455,000 for improvements to the ceremonial courtroom. The board also heard the first reading of an ordinance extending a temporary moratorium on permitting for battery energy storage systems while the county drafts new zoning rules.
