On Feb. 24, 2025, the City of Plattsburgh Planning Board approved a detailed site plan and SEAF Part 2 for a new Dollar General at 4761 Route 9, conditioning approval on New York State DOT sign-off, expanded dumpster enclosure and other staff and board recommendations.

The City of Plattsburgh Planning Board on Feb. 24, 2025 voted to approve a detailed site plan and a Short Environmental Assessment Form (SEAF) Part 2 for a new Dollar General store proposed at 4761 Route 9, adopting the SEAF findings and attaching multiple conditions before final sign-off.
