County Manager Stacy described the DA project as having begun but encountering higher-than-expected bids. “Well, we started, but, the bids were very, very high on that project,” Stacy said, adding that the $400,000 “should be enough to finish it up.” Stacy also noted work is underway in the basement near foundation elements and said the team will be watching for erosion or other structural problems as they excavate.
Mister Stein seconded the motion. The board approved the transfer by voice vote; those present responded “Aye,” and the chair declared the motion passed. No opposing votes or abstentions were recorded in the transcript.
