Senate panel hears bill to expand alternative compliance options and extensions for Clean Buildings performance standard

Representative Beth D'Oleo introduced House Bill 15 43, which would expand compliance pathways and extension authority for the state’s Clean Buildings performance standard.

"As you know, the built environment is about 30% of our greenhouse gas emissions and this bill seeks to reduce those emissions from existing buildings," Representative Beth D'Oleo said, noting stakeholder work and district experiences in Olympia.
