Appropriations committee advances revised Budget Adjustment Act, rolls back many governor requests
Committee reviewed a new Budget Adjustment Act that restores $14 million to the treasurer for early bond redemption, removes several one-time appropriations (including VHCB and an Act 186 pilot), and sets a $133.5 million carryforward to FY 2026; several positions added earlier were deleted from the bill.

The House Appropriations Committee on March 19 reviewed a revised Budget Adjustment Act that largely restores the governor's recommended structure and removes a number of one-time appropriations that had been added in the House and Senate conference report.
