Todd Shanley, head of IT, told commissioners the county mistakenly recorded roughly $750,000 in the wrong 9‑1‑1 account when contracting with Motorola for the county’s new CAD, RMS and jail system. Shanley said the amendment would move those funds back into the proper 9‑1‑1 fund so the county can pursue additional grants.
