The commission voted 3-0 to approve the March 7 meeting minutes and to carry forward a series of agreements including a letter of agreement for a 2025 "a trip to" project, an engineering agreement with Morrell Engineering and the Alabama Department of Transportation for Airport Road improvements and a new roadway at the Empire Field property line, and a work-release employment agreement with the Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC). Commissioners also authorized the chairman to negotiate terms and enter necessary contracts with a salary-consulting firm to review job salaries.
