County human-resources staff recommended awarding RFP 25-02, the employee group vision plan, to VSP Vision Plan after evaluating two proposals. Tanya Lopez presented the procurement outcome and recommended the award to VSP.
Tanya Lopez said the county received two submissions and, after scoring and evaluation, recommended awarding the contract to VSP Vision Plan. Commissioners asked for any questions; none were raised. A motion to approve the recommendation was made, seconded and passed on a roll-call vote recorded in the minutes: Trost, Klein, Bowen and Carlson each voted “Yes.”
The contract award was recorded in the minutes and staff will finalize the procurement steps required to implement VSP Vision Plan as the county’s vendor for employee vision benefits.
