Board approves Tyler Technologies transportation software to replace BusTrax

The Solanco School District Board of School Directors approved a contract March 17 to implement Tyler Technologies’ transportation software to replace the district’s current BusTrax system.

Board members asked about pricing, comparable districts, and whether the district had received sufficient references. Transportation staff said other districts pay similar amounts and that Tyler’s support and turnaround time were decisive.

A motion to purchase and implement Tyler Technologies’ transportation software passed by voice vote with no opposition recorded in the transcript.
