Grand County engineering staff gave the commission an update on the Spanish Valley multi‑use path project, which will provide a separated 10‑foot path (with a 5‑foot buffer from the traveled way) from Mill Creek Drive to Pack Creek. County Engineer/Project staff said most environmental work is complete and final plans are expected in the next few weeks, allowing right‑of‑way acquisition to proceed. The project team expects to advertise for construction bids in roughly a year and to complete construction by late 2027; construction duration is expected to be four to five months once underway.
