A Meals on Wheels representative told the court the program served more than 43,000 meals last year, had 228 volunteers who contributed 264 volunteer hours in the previous month and currently serves roughly 165 to 175 clients each month across the county, from Bluff Dale to Morgan Mill and Lingleville. The presenter also said the per‑meal cost has risen and that program budgets have contracted since COVID-era emergency funding ended.
Commissioner Stevens moved to approve the resolution and Commissioner Ray seconded; the motion passed by voice vote.
