The chairman reported that he and Ray met with John Carr and that Carr “is on board with us having an interlocal agreement” and supportive of a proposed name change, but that the name change would require legal work and more time to finalize. The chairman said he is drafting an initial interlocal agreement to circulate to the county and the local fire district for review before it returns to the County Commissioners and the Fire Board for approval.
