Board unanimously backs support for legislation on LaGrange Road

The board recorded a unanimous vote in favor of the motion; no opposition was noted.
Supervisor McDaniel praised Pereira’s long‑running work on the issue and other supervisors acknowledged the multi‑county nature of the route and the need for state designation or assistance. The county’s public works director was thanked for preparing a supporting letter and coordinating with neighboring counties.
The board did not specify funding amounts at the meeting; supervisors said they expected the county to forward a support letter and to coordinate with adjacent counties on the request.
