The board approved removing hearing-aid age limits, expanding the spouse definition to "legally married spouse," and eliminating a gambling-addiction exclusion in the county health plan. Discussion on covering gender dysphoria was extensive and the item was postponed for more consideration and a full board discussion July 23.
