Commissioners sign letter supporting multi‑county PDR application to CPW/GOCO
Routt County commissioners approved a letter of support for Purchase of Development Rights (PDR) project 222, a multi‑county application routed through Colorado Parks and Wildlife and Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO). The project team executed a confidentiality waiver enabling the county to provide public support.

Representatives of the Colorado Cattlemen’s Agricultural Land Trust (CCALT) and project partners asked the board for a letter of support for Project 222, a purchase‑of‑development‑rights application that spans Routt County and a neighboring county. Staff said the project had been handled at confidential Tier 1 status in the PDR process; the applicant supplied a signed waiver allowing the county to provide a public letter of support to be included with a joint application to Colorado Parks and Wildlife’s regional partnership initiative and to Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO).
