Routt County commissioners approved the purchase of two dispatch console workstations for the county’s new Hayden satellite dispatch center, voting to buy the units from AFC Industries for $20,297.74. Communications staff told the board they solicited quotes from four specialized console manufacturers; AFC’s prebuilt desks offered the best fit for the dispatch room size and doorway dimensions and a four-to-six-week delivery timeline.
