Grand County’s Information Systems director presented a multi-part 2026 budget request to the Board of County Commissioners that would add staff and fund a one-time capital refresh of the county’s virtualization platform, accelerate an operational migration to Google Workspace to consolidate disparate services, and expand cybersecurity and continuity tools. The board also heard a separate but related presentation from GIS staff about licensing and imagery cost-sharing.
