Staff said they are evaluating whether the silo and garage could be repurposed and are exploring options to relocate electrical and water service; if repurposing is not feasible, the garage and silo would be removed. Staff indicated structure removal would likely occur next year and that quotes will be returned to the board for approval.
When a commissioner asked for confirmation that the current action was only to advertise for bids, staff responded, “Yep.” The board approved the advertising motion by voice vote and the motion carried.
Staff will return with bids and more detailed recommendations, including any recommended utility relocation or repurposing analysis.
