Task Force appoints Beverly Lee and Sarah McBride to provider seats

The Clallam County Homelessness Task Force voted to add two members to provider seats: Beverly Lee was appointed to the West End provider position, and Sarah McBride was appointed to the domestic-violence/assault provider position. Task Force members reported both candidates had been interviewed by a panel of three Task Force members and that the interviewers recommended the appointments. Members said Beverly Lee has longstanding experience with local domestic-violence services (formerly with Mariposa House / Forks Abuse programs), and that Sarah McBride works for Healthy Families and has lived-experience knowledge relevant to homelessness services. Both appointments were approved by voice vote at the meeting. Task Force staff said they will follow up on members who have missed multiple meetings to confirm continued participation and will present any membership vacancies at a future meeting if incumbents do not communicate intentions to remain on the Task Force.
