Council approves design agreement with GDOT for Roberts Drive sidepath Phase 1
The council authorized a project framework agreement with the Georgia Department of Transportation to design a south‑side multiuse sidepath on Roberts Drive from Dunwoody Place to Island Ford Parkway; an ARC grant of $216,000 with a local match was noted and staff said path width will usually be 8–12 feet.

The Sandy Springs City Council on Aug. 5 approved a project framework agreement with the Georgia Department of Transportation to design the Roberts Drive sidepath Phase 1, a streetscape and multiuse path on the south side of Roberts Drive between Dunwoody Place and Island Ford Parkway.
