Crews plan to complete a 48‑inch pipe installation under Sixtieth Street and finish ditch cleanouts on 130th Street, then move to additional projects in Wisner and other townships when weather permits.
Supervisors noted extra traffic and gravel/rock tracking related to ongoing wind‑project construction and agreed to continue communications with contractors to reduce impacts on county roads. The department said some bridge projects will require crane or contractor assistance and that a C13 box‑culvert project may be partially hired out due to size and crane needs.
Staff also discussed equipment maintenance needs, including a grader replacement and potential future replacement of a skid motor; supervisors asked staff to coordinate equipment deliveries, project timelines and job postings for the open operator position.
