A county finance staff member told the Commissioners Court that the county earned $233,004.31 and 42 cents in interest in the second quarter and that year-to-date interest income was $443,002.86 (as spoken in the meeting). The finance staff member said the general fund accounted for the largest share of year-to-date interest.
