The Morgan County Council on Aug. 4 approved a transfer within the prosecutor’s office salary ordinance to pay Amanda Koester for one month at a rate of $54.31 per hour to provide transitional support for a newly hired deputy handling Title 4D matters. The prosecutor who presented the request said the transfer uses existing departmental funds and adds no new taxpayer dollars.
