Jefferson County HHRC sets permanent meeting day, forms subcommittees and ties work to county comprehensive plan
At its July 28 meeting the Jefferson County Health and Human Relations Commission voted to hold meetings on the fourth Monday of each month, agreed to convene a strategic subcommittee to refine goals from the county comprehensive plan, and created a community outreach subcommittee to bring resources into outlying townships.

The Jefferson County Health and Human Relations Commission voted on July 28 to hold its regular meetings on the fourth Monday of each month, a change the commission approved by voice vote during the meeting. The commission also directed members to form two small subcommittees: a strategic planning subcommittee to refine goals drawn from the county comprehensive plan and a community outreach ("coffee chat") subcommittee to bring resource representatives into smaller towns.
