Commission approves top-line pay for administrator and machine technicians

The Davidson County Election Commission approved setting the salary for the administrator of elections and the machine technician positions at the maximum allowable under Metro Council's approved budget. Administrator Jeff Roberts told commissioners the state statute requires the commission to approve the administrator’s and machine technicians’ salaries, while other staff salaries follow Metro’s pay plan.
