DNR to install Anne Wright bridge kayak launch; county seeks additional Blueway sites
The Indiana Department of Natural Resources is scheduled to install a kayak launch at Anne Wright's Bridge in August; a second launch permit near Eugene Covered Bridge is pending, and the county is using a Blueway grant (approx. $2.1 million) that requires half the funds be used for education.

The county reported updates on planned kayak launches along the Wabash and Big Vermilion rivers. The Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will install a kayak launch at Anne Wright's Bridge (near Forest Glen) in August, county staff said.
