Ryan said mechanical rough-ins were underway and rock was being placed under the slab between grid lines 4 and 8. He said northwest steel interaction and precast-panel layout were planned, and that a crane was scheduled to arrive Friday and set up for Monday to begin panel setting. “Crane should arrive Friday and be set up for Monday,” he said.
He added that once panels go up, columns and beams and roof blanks would follow, with masons expected to follow behind to tie bearing walls into the precast panels. Electricians and plumbers were working on underground utilities timed with base-rock placement. The representative said weather would affect the schedule and that the team was aiming to maintain the planned sequencing so masons could get cure time on block walls before roof work.
No permits, change orders or contract-values were discussed at the meeting.
