Board accepts multiple manure-management reports and crop-rotation changes

The Carroll County Board of Supervisors received a series of manure-management updates, including annual reports and notices of changed crop rotations or optimum yields from several livestock operations in county townships. The clerk read submissions that included annual reports for operations such as Pig Haven (Glidden Township), Franklin Pork (Franklin Township), Easton Feed Lots (Jackson Township) and Dennis and Bill Venami Livestock Farm (Wheatland Township). Several sites filed notices of changed crop rotation or optimum yields, including Andover Family Farm, Joey Shone, Stone Path 3, Meyer 3, La Verne Graving site and Justin Schroeder’s operation. Two Richland Custom Farm sites reported no changes. The board recorded the filings as part of the official docket; these updates are routine notifications required under state manure-management procedures and no additional board action was taken at the meeting.
