The mayor asked the council on July 21 to approve an ordinance amending Chapter 2.76 of the Cresthill municipal code to codify the salary for deputy liquor commissioners. The mayor said the change does not alter current pay levels but formalizes them in the code.
Council members moved and seconded the ordinance and approved it by roll call; the clerk recorded the ordinance as number 2030. The mayor said the codification follows a request to ensure the deputy liquor commissioners’ salaries are reflected in the codified city ordinance. No changes to pay amounts were proposed.
The ordinance was adopted on the evening’s consent roll call vote and staff will update the code and publish the ordinance text as required by municipal procedure.
