The facility reopened its kitchen and has one renovated wing ready for occupancy pending a final DHS inspection; trustees were told a change in the fire-suppression system scope will require engineering and a pump purchase and a request to increase contingency funding will go to county finance.

Lakeland Healthcare Center leaders told the Board of Trustees on July 16 that the facility kitchen has reopened and that the first renovated resident wing is ready for occupancy pending a final inspection from the Department of Health Services.
