Stoler said the renovation "also includes general building maintenance that will make the center more environmentally friendly and cost efficient." He added the project includes HVAC and roof replacement, an irrigation system update, sidewalk and landscaping improvements, updated parking lot lighting and changes to meet new ADA requirements. The city did not provide contract names, construction bids or funding sources in the news segment. The item was presented as an informational status update rather than a formal council action.
