Washington County authorizes solicitor to file affidavit opposing Tunnel Ridge injunction
The county authorized its solicitor to file an affidavit in Tunnel Ridge LLC v. Mark West Liberty Midstream and Resources LLC opposing a requested injunction, saying the injunction would have a "devastating economic impact" on local oil and gas operations.

The Washington County Board of Commissioners authorized the county solicitor to file an affidavit opposing a request for injunctive relief in the case Tunnel Ridge LLC v. Mark West Liberty Midstream and Resources LLC. Chief Clerk Chief Clark presented the request during the meeting and said the injunction “would have a devastating economic impact on oil and gas operations that would affect the county, neighboring townships, property, and royalty owners in the portion of this county.”
