The Board of Commissioners approved the consent agenda as published. The consent agenda covered multiple routine items including the June 17 meeting minutes; items related to recent capital outlay; the appointment of Pete Phillips to the Board of Zoning Appeals (VZA); a local agreement for maintenance of the Stringer’s Ridge trail/veil system; a new fire training program; a parks and recreation support services agreement with a named partner (transcript spelling unclear); a contract for restoration of the White Oak detention pond; a subscription agreement for capital improvements planning software; a restriping project coinciding with the State Route 8 restriping and resurfacing project; an application for a placemaking grant; and a budgeted purchase of a new tractor for the public works department.
